Yes. The only thing you cannot do is have a Steam license and a non-Steam license on the same account. They both fill the PC slot and are therefore not compatible. There are 3 separate groups. You can have all 3 license activated on a single account and you can login to any of the systems with the active license.

Steam CREATES an account, which is then linked to your STEAM license of the game. Whats odd about FF XIV is that the game sells licenses, not copies. Theyve been living microsofts dream for over a decade. Its the same reason why you cant take a PS4 character elsewhere; You have a PS4 license, NOT a PC license.
If you both have different PSN accounts, you can each have a SE account, but you will need two licenses. The benefit of this is that, if you get a second PS4, you can play together. However, if like me and my wife, its only ever either you or the wife playing, and never together, you only need one PSN and one SE account, as you can have one

You would need to purchase the game on PS4. But you can link the accounts together, so you don't have to restart your character progress or anything. Astroshak 6 years ago #2. Yes. All 4 clients (General PC, Steam, PS3, PS4) connect to the exact same servers. For some reason, Steam is considered a separate client type lol. PS3 users won't be able to play anymore once the next expansion is released (June 21 I believe). Just be sure to pick up a keyboard for the PS4. tl8oozn.
