While Samsung is ending official software support for the Galaxy S9 and S9+, it doesn't necessarily mean that the device owners will have to buy new phones to experience all the new features in Android 11 and 12. It's still usable, but definitely not a phone I would purchase in 2022. There are some very good mid-range options nowadays that comes with a 120hz screen, much better cameras, longer update support (the S9 isn't getting updates anymore) and a better CPU (865, 870 or 888). 41.
