Sound bug - unit responses stop working. I’m playing the prologue campaign, and unit responses seem to just randomly stop working at all for a while and then start working again a bit later. I’ve got the same problem. It extends to the unit sounds inside the “in stage cinematics”.
Can't get sound to work in WoW. Check your sound devices to make sure they are properly plugged in and the power is turned on. Check your operating system’s sound settings to ensure that they are properly configured. Update your drivers to resolve any compatibility issues. Reset your in-game options to resolve crashing and performance problems.
Check your in-game audio settings in the game's options menu. Make sure Enable Music and Enable Sound are checked, Master Volume is set appropriately, and your Output Device, Speaker Setup, Sound Quality, and Sound Channel are correct. Note: Higher Sound Quality settings will sound better, but may reduce performance.
